Traditonal Quality, Excetptional Value...

Albert Hoelting, Sr. could hardly have
known his hammer would create a legacy.
New to Kansas City from St. Louis during
World War II, Albert took a hammer with him when he applied for work at the Sunflower Munitions Plant. The people who hired Albert assumed he was a carpenter. He wasn't, but he learned on the job and became a good one.
Carpentry led to bigger things, and Albert
built his first home in the Kansas City area in the 1940's. The rest is truly history.
Albert and Alice raised 11 children and made an indelible mark on home building in the metropolitan area along the way. While Albert built the business, Alice kept everyone in line. As Tim Hoelting says of his mother, who passed away in 2001, "She was the glue that kept us all together." The glue still hold true today. All of the Hoelting children are involved in the homebuilding industry, and each has a separate business. While competition - in everything from building homes to the best BBQ - is a way of life for the Hoeltings, family and the values their parents taught them are their touchstones.
Now boasting a third generation of home builders, the Hoelting family is set to continue it's legacy of exceptional, award-winning homes in Cross Pointe. Those awards include American Dream Home, the Home Builders Association of Kansas City (HBA) Pick of the Parade, and the HBA's Metropolitan Award for Marketing Excellence.
